AntiGravity Aerial Yoga.
Holly has been involved with yoga and pilates from the age of 10. It started with accompanying her mum to an Iyenga yoga class to eventually becoming an accredited Solomon yogalates instructor many years later.
Due to functional scoliosis from many years of playing the violin Holly was able to rehabilitate her body through a combination of Yoga and Pilates. During this time she met her now husband Steen Shoar who is a flying trapeze instructor, so flying trapeze also played an integral part to help rehabilitate her body.
Recently Holly has discovered AntiGravity Fitness, a form of suspension fitness and/or aerial yoga that is taught from a soft hammock similar to a silk. Through inversions, strengthening and stretching this prop has endless ways to nourish your body and mind. She is very excited to be able to be a part of Wanderlust Melbourne!
